Our Story

Golden Hands CBOGolden Hands CBO was founded in 2025, based in Turkana, with a national goal: closing Kenya's mental health access gap, one community at a time. . Nationally, about 75% of Kenyans are unable to access mental healthcare, and only a small fraction of the country's largest hospitals offer mental health services at all. Golden Hands exists to close that gap by bringing mental health advocacy directly to the people who need it.

Our Impact

Since launching in 2025, we have reached over 1,200 individuals, run 8 active programs, supported 45+ volunteers, and expanded to 6 counties across Kenya.
